This place is absolutely amazing! My son and I stopped here when we were on our way to a neighboring city and decided to get something to eat. This was the best that we could’ve made. Erin was out Bartender & she’s the best! Also, the other waitress with the red hair who reminds us of Mrs. Jetson was also amazing. I don’t remember her name. The Caesar salad was to die for, and the wings were delicious. Not to mention the cocktails and happy hour. Highly recommended!
A true local gem. The food is consistently excellent, the portions are generous, and the prices are fair. The aviation-themed setting right by the runway adds a unique and relaxing vibe you won’t find anywhere else nearby. The staff is friendly, and the whole experience feels warm and welcoming. Whether you’re in the mood for pizza, pasta, or just a good hangout spot with a view, this place delivers. In my experience, the bar also has some great visitors that bring that at home vibe to the place.
Guido’s @ The Hangar is a fantastic, family-owned Italian restaurant that offers a warm, welcoming atmosphere and delicious, high-quality food. Located right next to a private airfield, it’s a unique and enjoyable dining experience, especially for aviation enthusiasts. The restaurant is spacious, well-decorated, and exceptionally clean, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. It’s clear that Guido’s is a local favorite, drawing in pilots, military personnel, and travelers alike. During my visit, I had the opportunity to chat with some regulars who shared great stories about the area and recommended some must-see spots nearby. Now, let’s talk about the food—absolutely outstanding. The menu offers a great selection of classic Italian dishes, and everything I tried was fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. The house salad was so good that I ordered it multiple times, and the beer on tap was perfectly chilled. Portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. Service was another highlight. The staff and owners are incredibly friendly and accommodating, taking the time to ensure each guest feels welcome. It’s refreshing to see a restaurant where customer service is a priority. If you're an aviation fan, grab a seat with a view of the airfield—you might see some takeoffs and landings while you eat. Whether you’re passing through Rosamond or a local looking for a great meal, Guido’s @ The Hangar is well worth a visit.
Very good food. My hubby and I have traveled around the world and America so were kinda food snobs. This food is really excellent. The atmosphere and decorations awesome. Love the colors. Who knew Rosamond could look so good. Their view out their back windows is a beautiful sunset. Their garlic fries are so crispy, garlic and parmesany. Lol. Everything was made with special attention to details. People really love it here. The pizza we didn't try but it looked amazing . We got the calzone and pasta and appetizers. The spicy cucumber jalapeño margarita is amazing! Perfect balance.
I’ve had the pleasure of dining at Guidos at the Hanger multiple times, and it never disappoints. Nestled with stunning views of the desert landscape, the mountains, and my personal favorite the airport runway—this restaurant offers a truly unique dining experience. Watching small aircraft take off and land adds a dynamic and captivating backdrop to your meal. Today’s visit for breakfast was exceptional. I opted for the Meat Lover Skillet, and they absolutely knocked it out of the park. The skillet was a hearty and delicious combination of ham, sausage, bacon, potatoes, eggs, and veggies. Each bite was flavorful and satisfying. The dish also came with a side of biscuits and gravy, which were the perfect complement to the rich and savory skillet. I can’t forget about the green salsa, fresh and full of flavor, it has a spicy taste but doesn’t burn on cling on. Guidos at the Hanger consistently delivers on both food quality and ambiance, making it a must-visit spot for anyone in the area. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this restaurant is well worth a visit.
We had calzones. They were excellent!! We also had garlic fries for an appetizer. Wow they rocked. Highly recommend this place. They have an air strip next to them, so you can watch the planes take off and land. The scenery around is beautiful. Very clean bathrooms. The whole place is great.
